BTX Precision has selected Paperless Parts as its standard quoting platform across the organization. Gen-El-Mec Associates, a 45-person CNC machining business unit in Oxford, CT, was the first BTX portfolio company to adopt Paperless Parts to streamline operations, turn quotes around faster, and win more work. BTX plans to launch to its other business units while making Paperless Parts an integral part of future acquisitions.

“We are committed to arming all of BTX Precision with the tools they need to excel within the competitive and complex manufacturing market. Winning new business and ensuring jobs are profitable always starts with an accurate quote, which is why we invested in Paperless Parts,” said Jamie Goettler, Chief Revenue Officer of BTX Precision. “Companies that use Paperless Parts have proven their ability to triage quotes faster, drive consistency across their estimating teams, and improve the overall health of their businesses.”

With a large percentage of its work in the aerospace and defense industry, BTX has selected Paperless Parts’ Aerospace & Defense tier to ensure a CMMC-compliant quoting process and protect the Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) its companies receive from its customers. Paperless Parts enables BTX to securely collaborate with customers and vendors without compromising sensitive intellectual property.

“Many shops have spent millions on advanced machinery, robotics, and automation, but they continue to rely on spreadsheets or outdated ERP systems for their quoting process, which is often cumbersome, time-consuming, and riddled with security vulnerabilities. BTX recognizes that to truly accelerate growth, shops must adopt modern technologies that enhance profitability not only on the shop floor but also in the front office,” said Jason Ray, CEO and Co-Founder of Paperless Parts.

OEMs buying from BTX portfolio companies can expect faster, more accurate quotes and newly acquired shops will benefit from favorable rates on the Paperless Parts platform as they integrate into the growing BTX family.
